On Friday 27th October 2006, seven volunteers from Abbey in Milton Keynes came and volunteered in the Secret Garden as their contribution to 'Make A Difference' Day. The firm generously donated £250 towards plants and they spent much of the day planting them - 2 treees, about 50 shrubs and nearly 800 bulbs. The volunteers worked from 9.30am to 4pm and seemd to thoroughly enjoy the experience. Regular Secret Garden volunteers worked alongside them all day and were really grateful for the extra pairs of hands. We would welcome involvement by other firms that might to enagage in a team buuilding day with a difference!
